This public park is spread over a wide area of 9,603 acres. Several upper class areas like 42nd Street, 40th Street, Sixth Avenue and Fifth Avenue of New York City border this park.
This park received it name from the poet William Bryant in 1874. The park is visited by hundreds of local residents and outsiders every day. It is famous for the countless number of recreational activities that take place here.
The beautiful park featuresgreen lawns and gardens with an array of colorful flowers.
The New York Public Library lies just behind this park.
Bryant Park hosts a number of events and recreational activities throughout the year. During the winters, a skating rink is also opened in the park.
