The High Line Park is situated to the Western side of Manhattan. This is a 1.45 miles park which is built on a section of a former elevated freight railroad spur, known as the West side Line. This park opened in 2009 and is operated exclusively by New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. This park extends from Gansevoort Street to 34th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues.
