The Grand Central Terminal is located at the 42nd Street and Park Avenue in New York City. Originally built in 1871, the terminal underwent major renovation in 1913.
This is the most important train station in New York. The most impressive part of the terminal is the huge main hall. The hall comprises of vaulted ceiling, which looks similar to a cathedral's ceiling.
The terminal is flooded with modern and chic shops. Visitors can shop for fashion accessories and other stuff at these shops. After they have shopped enough, visitors can try some lip smacking delicacies at the brand new food court at the terminal.
The food court is accompanied by a modernized bar located at The Steak House. This place is owned by Michael Jordan. Visitors can relish a drink at the bar overlooking the crowd at the terminal.
Tourists who are fond of shellfish can try some delights at the Oyster Bar. Altogether, this is one great place to spend a delightful time.
