Before mid twentieth century, this area was more popular as Hell’s Hundred Acres. It was an industrial wasteland, busy with small factories and sweatshops. At present, the neighborhood has become popular for shopping, and is known as the SoHo Cast Iron Historic District. It is known for its beauty and trend setting. This place surrounds the tourists with its cast iron warehouses and cobblestone streets.
