Times Square is the main junction in Manhattan in the city of New York and it has become a world landmark. The street displays animated and digital advertisements and is a busy centre of arts and commerce in the city.
This is one of the busiest crossroads and has appeared in countless number of shows, music videos and films. Corporate structures, such as Morgan Stanley, The New York Times Company, Reuters, Six Flags Inc., MTV Networks, Lehman Brothers, Ernst and Young and others have offices here.
The main buildings found in this area are Worldwide Plaza, 1 Times Square, W Times Square, Sheraton New York, The Orion, New York Times Tower, Bank of America Tower, Reuters Building and others.
This intersection has been the site of the yearly New Year Eve’s program since 1907. The Waterford crystal ball is lowered on a pole from the top of a building here and this is a sight watched by thousands of people each New Year’s Eve.
