The Orpheum Theatre in New York City is a place of resounding noise, beats, rhythm and intensity. Located at 126 2nd Avenue, the Orpheum Theatre is the home to the New York production of Stomp, the live physical percussion musical performance that has audience members grooving in their seats with the artists. Since 1994, Stomp performers have banged, clapped, brushed, knocked, hammered and pounded their way into the soul of Off-Broadway.
Well over 5,000 performances have played to this intimate 299-seat theatre, perpetuating the Stomp legacy throughout the years at its home at the Orpheum. The small setting ensures every seat in the house has a great view of the action, and tickets can be snagged at prices that don’t break the bank. Pair this with a dinner at a funky nearby East Village restaurant and you’ve got the perfect date night or night out with friends. For more information about The Orpheum Theatre, call (212) 477-2477.
