The George Eastman House is one of the oldest photography museum in the World situated in Rochester in New York. It is even one of the oldest film archives in the world opened in 1949 for the public. This museum is truly a leader in film preservation and in conservation of photographs. The museum educates conservators and archivists from around the world. The house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1966.
