University of Rochester can be described as a non-sectarian, private research university situated in Rochester. It happens to grant undergraduate, graduate, doctorate, and professional ‘degrees’ via its 6 schools and interdisciplinary programs. The university is home to numerous noted learning programs; inclusive of ‘Eastman School of Music’ and ‘The Institute of Optics’, i.e. the most ancient optics program all over the US. Around 4600 undergraduate and 3900 graduate learners have been enrolled for the current academic year. The university also competes in NCAA’s Division III, as far as athletics are concerned.
