Highland Botanical Park can be described as one of the tree gardens or arboretums located in Rochester. This park had been established in the year 1888. Retention of natural appearance was the sole purpose behind designing of Highland Park. There is an amphitheater overlooked by Frederick Douglass. Lilac Festival is hosted by Highland Park every year.
