Seneca Fall is a beautiful and calm village in the county seat of Seneca located in New York City, United States. The village is actually a part of the Town of Seneca Falls situated in the eastern part of Geneva, New York. As of 2000 census, the village has a population of 6,861. In the southern portion of the village, the famous Finger Lakes Regional Airport is situated. Currently the village is home to a racial make up of 96.43%25 Whites, 0.25%25 Native Americans, 0.73%25 African American people, 0.35%25 of other races and 1.34%25 Asian people. First incorporation of Seneca Falls took place in 1831. After this, the village has gone through several re-incorporations in 1837, 1860 and 1896. The waterfalls in this region are considered as a strong factor for the existence of Seneca Falls as the power for distilleries, mills, factories and tanneries are generated from these water falls.
