Tannersville is a village that can be found in the county of Greene, in the state of New York in the United States. This village is in the eastern centre part of the town of Hunter. It is fondly called as “T-Ville” or “T-Vegas” by the local residents. Tannersville is so called because it was formed by the workers of lumber mills and tanning industries. The credit for development of this village goes to the Hunter Program which constantly thrives encouraging the economic development of this village. The village is measured to be 2.9 sq. kilometres vast with land being the most of it. The total number of people residing here is 448 according to a recent census. This village is a mixture of Whites, Afro-Americans and also Asians. The New York Transit System is used to transport people and luggage here. The climate experienced by the city does not vary along with time and is very stable. This city mostly has a typical humid continental climate which is common in most of the states in USA.
