Because of the parks the White Plain city is also called as “The city in the Park”.The parks offer over one hundred sports and athletic programs, instructional classes, camps, cultural activities, special events and a variety of other activities annually.A state of the art library is centrally located in downtown and shows the various events which may be enjoyed at the Westchester Country Center and the Music Conservatory of Westchester.
