The museum is run by a board of trusties and it is planning a new building which will get started in the spring of 2009.The museum exhibits a variety of visual arts and the motto of the museum is to provide information about the history and heritage of the mountains through educational programs. The museum also holds exhibitions of significant permanent collections.
