Appalachian Cultural Museum is a part of Appalachian State University that was built mainly to promote the culture of Appalachian Mountains and also to implement new museum ideas. One can go through the exhibitions, books and periodicals to get a glimpse of the historical side of this region. This museum also hosts various group programs for schools, church or any civic bodies. Apart from this the museum also hosts an education show for every visitor.
