Johnston County in the North Carolina State in the United States has a town named as Clayton. A tiny section of this town spreads into the Wake County. Clayton is very close to the Research Triangle region. This town has access to major highways like NC 42, U.S. 70 and I-40. The Highway 70 Clayton Bypass is a 10.5 mile long road that begins from Interstate 40 and proceeds along the southern portion of Clayton to Highway 70 business in Smithfield. The elevation of Clayton is 341 feet. The gross area of this town is 10.3 square miles which is entirely occupied by land. In downtown Clayton on the Second Street, the Town Hall is located.
