Greenville is the County Seat of Pitt County, in the North Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Greenville Museum is a must visit place containing local art, as well as rotating exhibitions.
Greenville is home to wide range of cultural activities. Some local groups such as Greenville theater project, Magnolia Arts center and smiles and frowns offer outlets for both performers and audiences alike.
Greenville consists of large number of bars and restaurants and is known well for its large Halloween street party and live music bars.
