Hendersonville is a city which is located in Henderson County in North Carolina. This city us the county seat of Henderson County. Hendersonville and Henderson County are also part of the four counties Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area. This city is known as the “Friendliest City in America” and has an exceptionally beautiful small city downtown and comprises of antique shops and tourist attractions.

As per the 2000 census, the city had a population of 10,420 out of which 4,579 are household people and 2,555 are families residing in the city. As per the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.0 square miles of which 6.0 square miles are of land and 0.17 percent is water.

The city has an acceptable level of annual temperature change wherein the average temperature is 44.4 in the month of January and 74.7 in the month of July. The average precipitation in the city is 6.82 in January and 2.88 in July.
