Ferries run between Hatteras Island and Ocracoke Island round the clock. Time-span between 2 ferries is 1 ½ hours. The first ferry starts at 0700 hrs; whereas the last one terminates at 1830 hrs. These are time slots for summer season. As far as winters are concerned, the last ferry terminates at 1800 hrs. One can avail of the ferry on 1st-come, 1st-serve basis. Similarly, Ocracoke-Swan Quarter and Ocracoke-Cedar Island ferry services can also be availed of.
