Ocracoke Lighthouse is as high as 75 ft. above the ground. The ‘calm’ waterway which, at present, carries petite fishing craft and pleasure boats stands witness to adventure, heroism, and treachery much before lighthouse lay ‘sentimel’ over inlet. Ocracoke Lighthouse is a good historic site to behold. One can get to learn a lot regarding Ocracoke after coming to this place.
