Statesville is a city which is situated in Iredell County near the foothills of North Carolina. This is the county seat of Iredell County. The early settlers of Statesville were the Scots-Irish Presbyterians along with the German Lutherans in 1753. This settlement was known as "Fourth Creek Congregation".
