The permanent exhibits in High Point Museum offer a view into the past of High Point. This museum classifies the history of High Point into different sections called as High Point’s History, the Hall of Commerce, Jamestown’s Rifles and a Furniture Discovery Center. The Jamestown’s Rifles section displays several historic rifles made in this region, when Jamestown was considered as one of the two early rifle-making centers in North Carolina.
