Tourist Guide Devils Lake
Devils Lake is a city in Ramsey County, North Dakota in the United States. It was surveyed was Creels Burg and later Creel City. In 1884 it was renamed as the Devils Lake. Devils Lake total area was 16.3km. The city is located at 48° 6’ 44” N 98° 51’ 35” w. Devils Lake has the greatest duck and goose hunting in the world. This is also known for its white-tail deer hunting in the fall.
According to the census of U.S. in 2000, there were 7,222 people. The population density was 444 people per house hold. Many racial people can be seen in the city & according to the census one can see White, African American, Native American, Asian, from other races, and from two or more races. The Spirit Lake Tribe is a Sioux tribe and is located in east-central North Dakota.
