Devils Lake was established in 1962 to purchase and protect wetland habitat for migratory waterfowl and other wildlife. The statues are very beautiful and reveal the strength of those young men commissioned by FDR to help the conservation in the country in one of its darkest hours. It has a large natural body of water in North Dakota to making it your premier vacation destination for all seasons of the year.

Sullys Hill National Game Preserve
has an auto tour and nature trail. It’s open only from May to October throughout the summer. Sully is a big game preserve and in 1914 the American bison were seen in this habitat. These had not been seen in North Dakota since 1895.

It is reported that huge snow and ice storms are likely to occur across the country. On the surface it certainly does not appear that way. The NASA reports that the recent decades have been the warmest since at least around 1000 Ad.
