This state park is about 22 miles west of the Grand Forks and located along the heavily forested valley. The park spreads over an area of 784 acres and is a total opposite to the open farmlands which dominated eastern North Dakota. The whole park is a natural sanctuary providing shelter to plant and wildlife. Recreational activities in winter include sledging, cross-country skiing and many more.
Columbia Mall
Columbia mall is the best shopping destination in the city and houses three main department stores Sears, Macy’s and JCPenney as well as a number of national and local stores. The other attractions include Dakota Café, a large stone fireplace being its center and a food court.
