The state of North Dakota includes the Great Plains and the northern part of the Badlands. White Butte is the highest point in the region. The Missouri River flows through the western part of North Dakota. Lake Sakakawea, the third largest man made lake in the US, is located here in North Dakota.
Majority of the population are descendants of Scandinavian and German immigrants. North Dakota has a strong religious culture, having the most number of churches per capita and the highest percentage of church going population of any state.

We visit Minot several times each year and find the shopping very, very good. The entertainment is better than most places and find Minot to be a very safe place to visit. As for prices, they are terrific, whether it's Motels, Shopping, or, Eating out. We have a fantastic time, everytime, in Minot, The Fun City.

Great city to visit. We have visited Minot many times and have played golf and shopped. We enjoy the city very much. Lots to do in the community. Have even curled there many years ago. People were very friendly any time we have visited.
