Aberdeen Proving Ground is a united state of Army facility located near Maryland.
According to the state of the United States census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 31.0 km² (12.0 mi²). 29.4 km² (11.4 mi²) of it is land and 1.6 km² & its has a 72,962 acres, its northern point near the mouth of the Susquehanna River, on the south it is bordered by the River Gun Powder river.
Aberdeen city has many hills, with the original of the city growing from Castle Hill St. Catherine’s hills and Gallowgate, and it is noted for its biting winds and driving rain, which sweep in from the North Sea.
The mean temperature is 8 °C and its variation is between an average low of 5 °C (41 °F) and 11 °C (52 °F). In summer the high average is 16 °C and the average low is 9 °C. In winter the highest is 6 °C (43 °F) and average lowest is 0 °C. The wettest months are October and November.
Aberdeen had a population of 3,116 at the 2000 census. The racial making of CDP was White, American Native, American, Asian, and Pacific Islander from other races, and two or more races of the population were Hispanic of any race.
