Ashland: Attractions and more...
Ashland hosts the annual Balloon Fest every year. Hot air balloonist from all over the state and some out of state come to this little town to help put on what has become a tradition of sorts.
Ashland University is an excellent school to attend for a variety of reasons, one of which is the qualified faculty and staff and the one on one attention that each student receives.
Charles mill Lake Park is fully functional from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Outdoor recreation is its finest. Camping fishing, boating, hiking, hunting, biking are also provided in the city.
Ashland Ohio is at the edge of Ohio's Amish Country. A fairly high concentration of Old Order Amish live in Ashland County, they can be seen shopping at the local stores and they have set up several Amish stores in the city which one can visit.
