Centerville is a city which is situated in Montgomery and Greene counties in United States of Ohio. It is a part of the Greater Dayton area. Centerville is known to have the largest collection of early stone houses in Ohio many of whom are listed in the national register of historic places. Centerville is the sister city of Waterloo, Canada, Germany, Lower Saxony and Ontario.
The population of the city as per the 2000 census was 23,122. As of 2009, it reached 22,937 people estimating a growth of 0.10 percent as compared to 2000 census.
Geographically, the city has a total area of 10.2 square miles, of which 10.2 square miles is land and the remaining 0.04 square miles is water. This is as per the United States Census Bureau.
Centerville gets 39 inches of rainfall and 26 inches of snowfall in a yearly basis. The month of July is warm with 87 degrees and January is cold with 22 degrees.
