The Historical and Coal Mining Museum is a 1903 post office and houses many collections with the settlement period of 1843. Some of the exhibits depict pioneer farm and also village and a historic post office display. Moreover, there are details on the Mormon Trail of 1846 along with maps and artifacts. There is also a research library which has histories, directories and plat books.
