A clean and spacious city, Columbus is the capital of and the largest city in Ohio in United States. Named after Christopher Columbus, the city was founded in 1812. Columbus is the 15th largest city in United States with a population of about 739,657 residents. Owing to its developing nature, it has been identified as an emerging global city.
Columbus is characterised by a continental climate which is typified by hot, damp summers and cold, dry winters. Tornadoes, thunderstorms and floods occur periodically. Spring and autumn are the most pleasant times to visit this place.
Columbus began developing economically in the early stages of its incorporation. Today, it has a strong economy and is placed in the top ten best economies of the United States.
