The Columbus Museum of Art opened on January 22, 1931. This is a historic art museum which is located at 480 East Broad Street in downtown Columbus. Due to its architectural importance, this museum was added to the National Register of historic places on March 19, 1992 under its original name, the Columbus Gallery of Fine Arts. The exhibits include contemporary arts and photography collections. There are also some well known artist paintings by Picasso in this Museum.
