German Village is a historic neighborhood which is situated south of downtown Columbus in Ohio. Settled by a large number of German immigrants in mid 1800s, and who at one time had a third of population of the entire city. In 1974, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. In 1980, its boundaries were increased. This neighborhood got founded in 1820 having Italianate architectural styles. Schiller Park is one of the attractions of the neighborhood.
