Tourist Guide Dublin

The city of Dublin is spread in three counties in Ohio, USA. The city covers an area of 54.8 sq km and has a population of around 36,000.

The city has a humid continental climate. Summers are hot with an average high of 29°C, while winters are cold and dry with temperatures ranging from –7°C to 2°C.

Lined with early nineteenth-century architecture and dry limestone fences, Dublin grew from a rural village to one of the most progressive communities in central Ohio.

The Scioto River flowing through the city has contributed to the landscape of Dublin. Deep gorges and waterfalls can be found along the course of the river. Many parks, including the Scioto Park and the Donnegal Cliffs are located along the river.

The two most popular events in Dublin are the St Patrick’s Day parade and the Dublin Irish Festival. These two annual events attract many tourists and contribute significantly to the economy.
