Grove City is a suburb of Columbus and is situated in Franklin County in Ohio, USA. The city covers an area of 36.2 sq km and has a population of around 32,000. Conveniently located close to the city of Columbus, Grove City enjoys the commercial benefits of a big city while maintaining its small town charm.
The city has a humid continental climate, characterized by hot summers and cold, dry winters. The average summer temperature is 28°C, while the average winter temperature is –7°C. Tornadoes are a possibility from spring to fall.
Founded in 1852 by William Foster Beck, Grove City is one of the fastest growing communities and has been named as the most liveable city in central Ohio.
