The Ohio Renaissance Festival is an annual event which takes place on weekends from late August through October. This festival is held in Harveysburg and is set in a 16th century English village, during Elizabeth I reign. The 30 acres of area has shops, stages and scheduled fencing and jousting tournaments along with a mud show. Moreover, the queen and her parade make a circuit through the fairgrounds for a few hours in a day. Here, there are around twelve stages with total attendance of 165,000 people. This festival opened in 1990. Visitors of all ages get amused by the shows, rides and such entertainment presented before them.
