Hilliard is a city which is situated in Franklin County in Ohio. This city is a suburb of Columbus, the capital city. The city of Hilliard became incorporated in 1869 having only 280 residents. It is bordered on the east side of Upper Arlington and on the north side of Dublin. The original Hilliard was platted in 1853 by John Hilliard. Until mid 20th century, the railroad station and Main Street were the center of the city.
As of the United States Census Bureau, it has a total area of 11.1 square miles and all of this is land.
