The Portsmouth River Days Festival is held each year over the Labor Day Weekend. There are many activities which are held here like queens pageant, amusement ride for the kids, parade, food vendors, art, craft and commercial vendor’s market place and even night entertainment shows which are held on the riverfront stage. Portsmouth puts on the largest daytime parade in Ohio during the River Days festival. It is held for four consecutive days. This is held free of cost.
