Tiffin city is located in US State of Ohio and is the county seat of county seat of Seneca County. Its history dates back to 1812. Tiffin was named by Josiah Hedges who purchased the land in 1820.

It had a population of around 18,135 people as per the 2002 census. As per the 2009 census, the population is 97,941 habitants.

This city is home of Tiffin University and Heidelberg University. Once, it was noted as a porcelain and glass manufacturing center. Tiffin was designated as a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation.

It has a total area of 6.6 square miles, of which 6.5 square miles is land and the remaining 0.1 square miles is water.
