The Ritz Theatre was designed to imitate the great European opera houses and the concert halls of the 19th century. This theater came into existence in 1928. It got completed nine months and was instantly dubbed as Tiffin ’s quarter million dollar movie palaces. It had over 1,500 patrons when it got opened and was packed with audience to listen to the Ritz Quality Orchestra. It has an Italian Renaissance design with terra cotta and buff brick covering the street front façade.
