Wooster is a city which is located in the US State of Ohio and is the county seat of Wayne County. This is also the municipality which is situated in north east of Ohio and is fifty miles to the SSW of Cleveland.
Established in 1808 by Joseph Larwill, John Bever and William Henry, it was named after David Wooster, who was a general in the American Revolutionary War. The city is considered as the largest in Wayne County and also the center of the Wooster Micropolitan Statistical Area.
The climate of the city is warm during the summer months with 70 degree Celsius. During the winter season the temperature reaches 20 degree Celsius. The warmest month of the year is July with 82 degree Fahrenheit and the coldest month of the year is January with 16.90 degrees Fahrenheit.
The temperature can also vary between the night time and the day time and is moderate during the summer season and winter season.
The population as per the 2000 census was 24,811 people.
