The Bartlesville Area History Museum is a 10,000 square feet facility which is situated on the top floor of the City center. It is a historic building which was once home to the Hotel Maire during the Bartlesville oil bloom. This museum has many exhibits like photographs, video and artifacts, heritage of Bartlesville with stories of Indian Chiefs, shop clerks, smelter workshops and many others who helped shape the tiny frontier settlement to a modern city. The most popular attraction is the talking animated likeness of Frank Griggs who was a pioneer photographer.
