Johnstone Park

Rating:

Johnstone Park is the area one which has the entrance to the Art center area, the kiddie park and many such interesting items for the past. The exhibits include the Hulah train depot, which is an example of the early railroad facilities. There is a cannon which was used to shoot holes in oil storage tanks when they were caught on fire. One can see a large player in this city’s oil past which is the replica of the Nellie Johnstone oil well. At this location itself, the Nellie Johnstone was the first commercial oil well in Oklahoma.
