Claremore Lake Park was developed in the year 1929 along with the completion of dam. Before this, the area was a farm land and there were big rock bluffs with Dog Creek running through it. This park is a perfect place for relaxation for the whole family and is almost 1200 acres off East Blue Starr Drive. Some of the activities that take place are fishing, boating, duck hunting and jogging along with picnic areas.
