Enid city is a county seat of Garfield County, Oklahoma with nicknames like “Queen Wheat City” and “Wheat Capital”. This is because the city has immense grain storage capacity and has the third largest grain storage capacity in the world.
The city is home to the annual Tri-State Music Festival held each spring. Other places of interest include the Enid’s Gaslight Theater, the Enid Symphony Orchestra, the Enid’s Chautauqua, the Government Springs Park and many more places. Many can even visit the museums like the Cherokee Strop Regional Heritage Center, the Railroad Museum of Oklahoma and many more.
