Owasso is a city situated in Tulsa and Rogers counties in the United States. It is also a northern suburb of Tulsa. The city is one of the fastest growing cities in Oklahoma State. This State is a major producer of agriculture, oil and natural gas.

The city began as a settlement in 1881 and was called as Elm Creek named after a tributary of Bird Creek. H. T. Richardson was its first settler. The first train came into this city in 1899. It became a state in 1907.
