Ponca City has places where one can relax with family and have a beautiful holiday. Sun n’ Fun Water Park is one such recreational area, it has a 18 hole miniature gold course, wild water wave pool and a lot of similar amusements.
There is a magnificent 17 feet tall bronze statue which stands just outside the Pioneer Women statue and Museum. This museum has exhibits that cherish the achievements that women have made in the various fields like space, land, photography and medicine.
Another good museum that could be visited here is the Marland’s Grand Museum.
This spacious museum with the first indoor swimming pool in the state would not be disappointing to visit. Places that are close to Ponca City are Kildare, White Eagle, McCord, Kaw City and Marland.
This place has events going on all year long; however there are a few special annual events that are very special. The Annual Herb Festival is one such festival which is unique. During this festival from the basic herbs to exotic and rare herbs all can be found here.
