Stigler is a city situated in Haskell County in the state of Oklahoma in U.S.A. The city covers a total area of 2.2 sq miles and has an elevation of 577 feet. As per the 2003 census the city had a population of 2,777 people. The city was named after its developer Joseph S. Stigler.
The city is also nicknamed as the ‘land between two lakes’ as it lies between Lake Eufaula (the largest man made lake) to the west and Lake Robert S. Kerr to the east. Stigler has a pleasant climate with 217 sunny days and 3 inches of snowfall on an average in a year. The city receives 39 inches of rainfall. January is the coldest month and July the warmest.
