Ashland is known to have some fine Vineyards. There are two prominent ones that are very popular and people usually like visiting them. These vineyards are called Weisinger’s Vineyard and Ashland Vineyards.
If one is interested in some good exhibitions, sculptures and some beautiful contemporary paintings the art galleries and museums here are Aalto Gallery and SOU Schneider Museum of Art have some great exhibits.
A notable thing about the Aalto Gallery is that it is located in the National Historic Landmark Building that was itself built in the year 1908. Ashland is also surrounded by some beautiful places around.
Places like Medford, Grants Pass and Klamath Falls are close by. Medford is just around 13 miles towards the North West, Grants Pass is just around 37 miles to the North West and Klamath Falls are around 47 miles towards the East.
Oregon is know to be a place for award winning chocolatiers, they celebrate a chocolaty sweet festival called the Oregon Chocolate Festival.
Participation and witnessing this festival somewhere in March is sure to help you preserve sweet memories, long after the chocolates are over.
