In the Shore Acres State Park, one can view an oriental-style pond, a formal garden and two rose gardens inclusive of an All American Rose Selection display. The volunteers in the community and the Friends of Shore Acres co-operate with the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department and fill this park with thousands of holiday decorations and colored lights. A huge Monterey pine that is 95 feet tall with a 74 feet crown spread and 208 inch trunk can be seen here.
