Tourist Guide Depoe Bay
Next to the Pacific Ocean on U.S. Route 101, Depoe Bay is located. This is a city in Lincoln County in the Oregon State in the United States. This city exists at sea level and does not have any elevation. The total area of the city is 1.8 square miles which is entirely water. Depoe Bay is a landlocked picturesque bay with the exception of the harbor entrance through the rocks. Through this entrance boats up to fifty feet in length can be accommodated. Depending on tidal conditions, there are famous spouting horns that shoot salt water in the air.
As per the 2000 census, the population of Depoe Bay was 1,174.
July and August are the warmest months in Depoe Bay. The temperature varies from 48 or 49 degrees Fahrenheit to 65 to 66 degrees Fahrenheit. December is the coolest month with temperature varying from 26.4 to 35.7 degrees Fahrenheit. The average annual precipitation of Depoe Bay is 115.6 inches.
